Vehicle Summary
The vehicle I had no intent to buy. It popped up on Facebook Marketplace about 30 minutes away from me at a very attractive price. Decided it was worth a look over my lunch break so I went to have a look and brought VCDS along to see what secrets it may be hiding. The car was filthy but I could see some potential there. Once I reviewed the CarFax and saw the extent of maintenance at well known enthusiast shops I got a bit more interested. Car also appears to have lived in Santa Barbara, CA from 2006-2014 which might explain why it isn't a rust bucket like so many others. Definitely not without problems but it should live on.
