Restoring a tired Audi seat

There's this guy I found on Instagram who really should have a larger following. His name is Zach and he basically has a kit that allows him to restore leather seats without having to strip them down and reupholster them.

So, when you have a set of leather seats like I do that are destined for the Audi V8 Quattro, a guy like Zach is hugely valuable. He can re-dye seats and also has a formula that lets him patch up small holes without having to sew the leather back together. He spends most of his time going to automotive dealerships but he's trying to carve out a small niche for home service for quick leather repairs.

For $150, Zach re-dyed the areas of rough leather and wear and tear, and closed up a small hole where the seat foam was visible. The end result speaks for itself and I hope to have Zach come back and re-dye the seats in my E91. And if the guy who has my Range Rover ever calls me back, I'll be sure to have Zach work his magic on that heap as well.
