This Guards Red 16-valve Porsche 944S is in very good condition and well sorted. I've owned the car for 11 years (since 2011); and driven and maintained it regularly throughout.  All major and periodic maintenance is up to date and the car is suitable for cross country driving. This 944S is stock except for:

  • Koni adjustable dampers
  • Slightly stiffer and lower front springs
  • Porsche Design 90 wheels 7x16/7.5x16 fitted with 205/225
  • Relay-protected higher amperage headlight harness with H4 headlights
  • Dansk stainless exhaust

Over the course of 2021-22, the car received a minor pandemic restoration and it is now ready for many more years of enjoyment.  The top end of this first generation 16-valve engine was rebuilt at 144k miles and the entire air/fuel system was cleaned, inspected, and resealed in 2021, along with a fresh timing belt, at 165k miles.  A new, OEM windshield was installed at the same time.  The torque tube was remanufactured and installed with fresh bearings at 166k miles with the clutch master, slave, and hoses replaced at the same time.  Brakes are recent, with Pagid pads over Zimmermann discs.  Control arms have also been refreshed.  The recent cosmetic and mechanical restoration work included:
