  • Engine bay fuel pump (Porsche Genuine)
  • Pressure switch
  • Fuel pump 911-series variant (used in certain 964 Turbo configurations)

Labor

  • Replace front fuel pump:
    Remove underbody covers → loosen fuel pump → drain fuel tank → reinstall covers → fill fuel. (2.5 hours)
  • Replace engine bay fuel pump:
    Remove air filter box + power steering lines → swap pump → reinstall. (1.5 hours)

Ignition System Service

Replacement of ignition wear items to restore proper combustion and boost control:

Parts Replaced

  • Distributor cap (BOSCH OEM)
  • Distributor rotor (BOSCH OEM)

Labor

  • Install distributor rotor & cap (1 hour)

CIS (K-Jetronic) Lean Condition Diagnosis

The shop diagnosed a lean running condition caused by a malfunctioning Warm-Up Regulator (WUR) that was not switching pressures properly.

Labor

  • 3 hours of CIS testing and tuning
  • Adjusted mixture to compensate for defective WUR

Suspension Refresh

Substantial suspension modernization, with upgraded components:

Parts Installed

  • Bilstein B6 front shocks (pair)
  • Bilstein B6 rear shock (single)
  • Front lower control arm bushing upgrade
  • Steering rack bushing (urethane upgrade)
  • RS-style tie rod set

Labor

  • Replace shocks front and rear (8 hours)
  • Remove lower control arms, press out/in bushings, replace inner & outer tie rods (5 hours)
  • Perform 4-wheel alignment (1 hour)
