The Audi V8 Quattro is home

So, I drove the 1990 Audi V8 Quattro home the other day. This car is a peach. I rarely am surprised these days, but I find myself loving a few things:

1.) Firing up a cold V8 in the morning;

2.) Loafing along with a slow-witted automatic transmission at the controls;

3.) Feeling like a Saudi price in a car that's over 30 years old.

Before it got here, I was thinking I should have looked harder for a rare 5-speed V8, but I'm glad I didn't. This is a boat of car, which means it wouldn't be all that fun to hustle, at least not without expensive suspension modifications. Nope - not touching that. I will refinish the BBS wheels and throw those on, as BBS wheels look good on everything.

Otherwise, I'm going to enjoy it as-is. I did secure a set of European headlights, which may get thrown on; however, the front bumper has to come off to do that. We'll see if I love it THAT much, but for the time being, I'm very happy with this sight-unseen purchase.
